Dr. Scott Wells

Dr. Scott Wells earned his DVM from the University of Minnesota in 1996. Since then, he has worked at a number of other veterinary clinics in the Metro area, both as an employee and as a relief doctor. So you may have met him already! Scott and his wife, Tally, and 18 year old son Zachary have lived in Crystal the past 8 years. Prior to that, they resided on a hobby farm near Watertown, MN where they raised horses, sheep, and 2 lovely rottweilers, Fergie and Chaka. Along with Moe, their polydactyl cat, they all helped raise Zach in a safe and sane manner. Presently, there are 4 cats at the Wells house. The only dog presence is a shih-tzu, Daphne, who visits the Wells household now and then to be babysat. To see Dr. Scott's pets click here.

Dr. Dawn Bradshaw

Dr. Dawn Bradshaw showed an early aptitude for science at age nine by excavating bat skeletons from underneath the family's back porch. An array of childhood pets included white mice, rats, turtles and one cat. After college and away from her dad's allergies, she got a dog, fell in love with medicine, and finally graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota in 1991.

Dawn lives in Bloomington with about 30 pounds of cats and 4-1/2 pounds of dog. Her special interests in veterinary medicine include cat and dog training and behavior, surgery, geriatrics and dentistry. When not working, and sometimes while working, she enjoys singing, motorcycling, gardening with native plants, canoeing and eating chocolate. To see Dr. Dawn's pets click here.

Dr. Tom Schuld

Dr. Tom Schuld joined Minnehaha Animal Hospital at the end of March 2008.  His path here, however, had a number of detours along the way.  After earning his MBA at the University of Minnesota and spending 13 years in the corporate world, he decided to pursue his passion by returning to the U of M and completed his veterinary training in 2002.  Since that time, he has been in small animal practice in the Twin Cities area.  Tom's special veterinary interests include dentistry and orthopedic surgery.

Tom has been a resident of South Minneapolis for nearly 20 years.  His home life is shared with his wife, Gail, three children, two Shiba Inu dogs (Kimi and Rusty) and a very personable turtle named Curi.  When not at the hospital, Tom enjoys spending time with his family, running or biking, fishing with his daughter and working on an endless list of home improvement projects that come with an 86 year old house.
