Regular Grooming Helps Maintain Your Pet's Health
Grooming is much more than getting a hair cut! Grooming plays a role in helping maintain your pet's general health and well being. Regular grooming will keep skin and coat clean and matt-free, making your pet more comfortable and shed less! Also, our groomers will examine your dog's skin for tumors and growths that can occur in older pets. Through regular grooming, we are able to catch these growths early, and also identify changes in skin, eyes and ears.
Our professional dog grooming services are offered Tuesdays and Thursdays. Our own nurses can bathe or perform a stylish lion cut to make your kitty feel great! For your pet's comfort and safety, very anxious pets can be sedated. Current vaccinations are required.
For most pets, we recommend grooming at least every 3 months. At Minnehaha Animal Hospital when you get your pet groomed every 3 months you get half off your 7th grooming visit! So regular grooming will end up saving you money too!
