Hospitalized Monitoring and Treatment for Your Pet
Sometimes our pets need more aggressive treatment that involves staying in the hospital. Here at Minnehaha Animal Hospital we are able to provide quality care when your pet becomes very ill. Treatments we are able to provide include IV fluid therapy, antibiotics, nausea and pain control, blood pressure monitoring, warming pads and same-day blood and urine monitoring with our in-house laboratory, and oxygen support with one-on-one monitoring by our trained nursing staff.
If your pet needs intensive care, overnight or weekend care, we can help you choose the best intensive care/emergency facility for your pet. Our talented nursing staff can also teach you how to give care at home, if possible, with subcutaneous fluid therapy and oral medications.
